BURIAL
It was prophesied that He
shall be buried like the rich. Isaiah 23:9. Two prominent men were responsible
for the burial of the Lord Jesus, Joseph of Ari-ma-theas and Nicodemus. It is
however written that he was wrapped in clean linen cloth and laid it in his own
new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock and he rolled a great stone to the
door of the sepulcher.

OF JESUS IS NOT A JOYFUL OCCURRENCE
With keenly human perception,
the death of Jesus Christ alone should have been a joyful occurrence if we
consider the eternal values enjoyed by human race.

Part One: Death is not a Joyful Event
To start with, death is not the desire of God for mankind. Satan brought the curse of death upon man. Gen 3:1-7, 17-19. This is the reason why Jesus referred to him as a murderer from the beginning. John 8:44; Hebrew 2:14. Whenever the curse of death comes to pass in one’s life, it is not a joyous thing unto God Gen 4:9-13.
